This Privacy Policy explains how AI Article Engine LLC ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use aiarticleengine.com and the AI Article Engine application (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).
Content you create. Topics, keywords, briefs, and generated drafts are stored so your document library works. This content belongs to you.
Usage data. We collect basic usage events (features used, generation counts, approximate performance timings) to operate limits and improve the Service.
Payment information. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. We never store full card numbers on our systems.
2. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To enforce plan limits and prevent abuse.
- To respond to support requests.
- To send service emails (billing, security, significant changes). Marketing emails are optional and separately unsubscribable.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not train AI models on your topics, briefs, or drafts.
- We do not share your content with other customers.

5. Data retention and deletion
Account data is retained while your account is active. You may delete individual documents at any time, and you may request full account deletion by emailing support@aiarticleengine.com. We complete deletion requests within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.
6. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and routine security reviews. No online service can guarantee absolute security; if we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you without undue delay.
7. International users and your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EU/EEA, UK, and California), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact support@aiarticleengine.com.
8. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We will post updates on this page and, for material changes, notify account holders by email before they take effect.
